You won’t find them free. Authors work for a living and deserve to be paid. If you enjoy an author’s work, please do not steal it. They work hard like everyone else. And do not come here asking people to be your accomplice in theft. It is against Yahoo Guidelines. And it is illegal. Plus most of those sites with bootlegged material have more viruses than the Center for Disease Control. Anyone who steals from them deserves the viruses. Yes, it is stealing.

You can get two great post apocalyptic e books by purchasing them at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.com. Try The Road by Cormac Mc Carthy or The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Both are about as close to perfect books as it gets. However neither is in public domain, both authors are very much alive and expect to be compensated for their work. You might also enjoy Cell by Stephen King. Pax-C
