Where can I find architecture ebooks or mags for download? I’m a student and I cant afford the real things.

I’ve beed trying to find the German mag Detail for download, as well as some other books such as, Building skin: surface, substance and design.

    If it were me, I think I would explain my situation to an
    architectural firm and just ask if you could have their
    used magazines; industries like that always subscribe
    to various publications and then toss them in the
    trash when the next month’s issue comes along.

    Try it, you have nothing to lose; otherwise you’ll be the
    guy in the grocery store, loitering in the magazine aisle.
    Just kidding; where there’s a will, there’s a way ;-)

    If, by chance, there is something you can’t find there… then one of my English professors gave me this site, which is basically the same thing and was put together by the University of Pennsylvania:

    All copyrighted material is illegal to download. Here are some sites that have non-copywrited material for reading:

    But I would try the Gutenberg Project first. I think their collection is more extensive.
