Is it legal to sell my ebooks that I know longer want?

I have hundreds of them. Some of them I love and will keep, others… not so much. It occurred to me right before I got ready to delete that it might be okay to make money off them. I read a lot and have my whole life. With paperbacks I already know the rules but am a little foggy when it comes to digital rights. So can anyone help me out? Oh, and can you recommend any sites if it is legal to sell them?

    You can only sell them if you have the resales right with purchase. Usually this is also mentioned on one of the first few pages of the book, or sometimes they put the book with a separate file about the rights, in a zip file.

    Other than that it is not legal to sell your ebooks.
