How safe is it to have print outs of cracked versions of ebooks in developed countries?

My friend has cracked versions of ebooks (the books that you usually buy but can also download from internet for free from few sites). He wants to have their print outs. He is planning to take them as reference when he will visit Australia. I want to know whether it is safe for him to have them with him?

Are there chances that the airport authority will check his bags to know what is in there even if they are a few pages?

Will he get punished if they come to know of those print outs?

security can always go thru luggage no matter what or when during your travel… but they are looking for things like weapons and drugs. even if they did go thru your luggage and see the papers, i really doubt that they would actually care to see what they were about. i wounldnt worry about it.
