How do I make PDF documents or ebooks? Word computer ebay digital file?

Posted Monday, March 16, 2009 by admin

How do I make PDF files? I see thousands of people make ebooks out of word documets and other things, but I can’t figure it out.

If anyone knows how to do this, I also want to know how I can make an internet link to that ebook, so if I wanted to send someone the ebook, all I would need to do is send them the link to it.

Adobe Acrobat. Not the reader the actual Acrobat software which is sorta pricey :( There may be free ones out there but I never looked into e-book stuff much.

    Cute PDF.

Does this for free, after that you will have to post it to a share, something like Rapidshare or megaupload.

They will give you an URL so people , can access this file.

    Fede beat me to it.
PDF Creator, free, small, fast, works.
Choose the version with Ghost Script.
Scan soft also makes a PDF creator. There are plenty to choose from.

There’s two great resources. The first is PDF995 (do a google search for it). It loads a print driver on your system. Then you can create a PDF from ANY program that has a print function. Create the document the way you want it to look, then hit print. But instead of selecting your normal printer, select the PDF995 printer and it converts your doc to PDF. The only drawback is if you have links in your doc that have dashes in them, it won’t complete the link correctly. Otherwise it works great. I’ve used it for years. And it doesn’t put nasty little links for the product on every page like a lot of other free PDF converters do.

The other way to go is download OpenOffice from OpenOffice.org. It’s a complete suite. It works just like Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You can even open doc for those programs in it. Each one of the programs has a PDF converter built into it. I have switched over to it and use it for all my ebooks I write. And best of all, it’s FREE!

I hope those help you. Best wishes to you,
    Robbie
