    The only way you’ll get them free is if your library carries them in ebook form. These works are still protected by copyright and the authors and their publishers would be foolish to give them away when they could still sell them.

    However, if you live long enough, 70 years after the author dies, they enter the public domain. It’s nice to have something to look forward to, yes? ;-)

    eharlequin.com has e-books and I believe you can read them on line. If not some Libraries now have e-books but I don’t know if any are romance books or not.
