What do i need to do to make a read only librery out of my personal ebooks, is this posible? can i charge on that? where can i find more information?

I want to be able to manage a library of read only(not downloadable) e-books that are copyrighted. but i havent found any laws about it. I wouldn’t charge on books individualy but for a membership wich will allow the acces to all books.

How safe is it to have print outs of cracked versions of ebooks in developed countries?

My friend has cracked versions of ebooks (the books that you usually buy but can also download from internet for free from few sites). He wants to have their print outs. He is planning to take them as reference when he will visit Australia. I want to know whether it is safe for him to have them with him?
Are there chances that the airport authority will check his bags to know what is in there even if they are a few pages?
Will he get punished if they come to know of those print outs?
