Can I publish Project Gutenberg eBooks available in Public Domain in USA on India based website?

Thanks LK..I need to know as per Project Gutenberg if public domain (USA) eBooks are being published outside USA, we need to check if those ebooks are also available in public domain in other countries. Do I need to check the copyright of thsse ebooks in India as well?

    Yes, you can.
    All the work shown at Project Gutenberg is no longer under copyright.
    You might even find work already in the language you want to use for India.
