Can I load my own ebooks onto the Kindle 2?

Amazon announced their new Kindle. Thinking of getting one but I have a load of pdf files. Can I load my own pdfs onto the Kindle 2, without any “service” charge?

You can not put your old books on to Amazon Kindle 2.
Also it does not support pdf format.

The good news is that Amazon Kindle 2 can instantly download more than 230, 000 books from Amazon for only $9.99.

Take a good look at the new Amazon Kindle 2 with the link below

You can email your pdfs to “name”@free.kindle.com once you’ve set up your kindle account and they will convert them to their .azw. You’ll have to load them through the usb connection instead of wireless. Or you can convert them yourself to .prc which the kindle supports natively.
